The 3 Ps of Summer

1. Puppy


Remember when I told you we were getting a puppy? We had one show up all on his own. This puppy also appears at Home Depot, the grocery store, in church, at the park, or anywhere else we go. Our new puppy crawls around and

plays fetch


uses a leash


licks your toes (or cheek if you ask for a kiss!)


We love the little puppy, but miss our little boy!

2. Popsicles

Every evening before bathtime, Caden and I enjoy popsicles on the porch together. We're more than happy to have our friend Colby join us.





3. Potty

A story

My mom has recently been into series of pictures that tell a story.

Here is a story I titled, "How Cade "helps" a reluctant Morgan into the pool."






Luckily, Morgan didn't seem to mind being pushed into the water.

I am a mom who loves her little boy's kisses.

Swimming at Grandma's House

When the cousins get together, it's sure to be a party.






And long after everyone else was dried off, cleaned up and down for a nap, Caden was still swimming. He was the first one in and the last one to be pulled (crying and begging for more) out of the water.

Chad once told me that I would have been lucky to cross the plains with him. These are some of my favorite pictures of Chad because it is him in his element--building fires, cooking outside, and taking care of Caden and I.
