Caden played in the snow for the first time over Christmas break. Putting on the whole snow get up proved to be a tramautic experience, but luckily we all lived.
He was less than thrilled about the sledding. Maybe because it was actually a knee board we found with my parent's boating gear.
This is such look of disappointment.
The swing is always his favorite. When we talk to my parents over video chat, sometimes my mom takes the computer outside so Caden can see his beloved swing.

Armstrongs
Because we had a long weekend, our friends from Vegas came to visit us last week. Chad and Josh met in cell biology class. We spent the weekend talking, playing games, and eating more than enough chocolate.
Their little girl Avery is so darling. I think Caden was smitten. Though, he had odd ways of showing it, like taking her toys.
We visited the Griffith Observatory. While Hilary and I were always ready to go on to the next exhibit-Chad and Josh were soaking in all of the science facts and displays.
They devoted an entire morning trying to fix Chad's X-Box.
Josh, Hilary and Avery: come back soon! We miss you guys!

Sometimes he does hold still.
My dad claims that he has never seen Caden stop moving, except when asleep. Caden does have a little chill in him--I think he gets it from Chad. I came downstairs recently to find he'd settled himself in with a good episode of Sesame Street looking like this.
Doesn't the leg over the arm of the chair crack you up?
He also dragged his chair over to the window to watch the kids playing outside.
