Working hard and hardly working.

Our spring has been full of wheel barrows, work gloves and shovels of dirt.  Alot of dirt.  Thankfully, our hydroseed is in now and we can sit back and watch our grass grow.  But it was a long time coming.  We thought that step 1 was put sprinklers in (we did that in the fall) then step 2 was to put the grass seed in.  We forgot step 1a, 1b, 1c....all the way to 1z.

We had so many days that Chad was outside working before the kids and I even woke-up and he'd still be going when I put the kids to bed.  I helped him as much as I could while our kids hung around and "helped" as much as they could.

Bryce especially loves to be outside with Chad.  After awhile Caden would usually wander off to find a friend, but Bryce would stick it out.

And when he needed a rest, he made do with any spot he could find.

Blessed

Having my own daughter makes me all that more grateful to my mom.

Such a lucky girl to have all of her grandparents alive!

Chad's Grandma and Grandpa Schow.  We love that they are able to come to every blessing, baptism and other family events.  I'm sure it keeps them busy!

Tessa is named after my dad Tom + my grandma MeliSSA= Tessa.  On the headband she wore, the button in the middle is from my Grandma Melissa’s wedding dress.  That morning when I was was getting her dressed and putting the bow on her, I thought of my grandma in the Salt Lake temple, fastening that same button on her wedding day.  I miss my grandma, and it was so neat to have a bit of her there with me, and of course to share that with Tessa.
